This is my 12th year at White Oak Middle School and my 25nd year in teaching.  I absolutely love what I do and watching students grow. I have been married to Al for 27 years and have 3 children( Jacy, Kala, and Dustin). My children are my enjoyment in life. I spend most of my free time at Church.

Jacy works for Good Shepherd in Longview in the Histopathology lab.  She has given us our 1st grandchild Ainsley (10), who will be in 5th grade at White Oak Intermediate, she is so excited about returning to school this new year!!

Kala will begin her 4nd year as a teacher here at White Oak High School as Biology, Chemistry and Physics teacher. She has been married for 11 years to Blake Williams. They gave us our 2nd grandchild, Karson Blake Williams,who is 4 years old.   This past year graced us with our 3rd grandchild, Tripp Harrison Williams.

Dustin has a degree in Chemical Engneering from Lamar University. He is currently working in research.   He is doing great in his career!

Camping is what my husband and I find to be the most enjoyable time.  Especially when we are with friends and family.  As retirement gets closer we have found many things we enjoy doing together.
